Heavenly Lake - Beautiful Mountain Area

I said I had some really old pictures to post. These are actually from Summer 2007. In July of that summer, I went to Heavenly Lake. It is a lovely mountainous area with a lake high in the mountains. Today, I have some pictures of the mountains, and tomorrow, I will have some pictures of the lake.

It is really a beautiful area.

There are even some small waterfalls.

To get to the lake, you have to take a van or cable cars to the top. We took the cable cars up, and the van down.

Here is a closer look at one of the cable cars.

Even after getting off the cable cars, there are still plenty of higher peaks.
