I love the Night Market. I love to go there and shop, but I never eat there. I do like to take pictures of all the yummy foods. Here is a taste of all the yummy stuff for sale.

Big Fireworks

Today is the big stuff. Keep in mind that these are all things that we set off ourselves.

No safety precautions.

No trained professionals.

No concern that we were in the middle of a large city with buildings all around us.

This place is every pyro's dream.

Fireworks, Asian Stype

In honor of the 4th of July, I decided to do a couple of posts on setting off fireworks in Asia. Asians love fireworks, and there aren't all those pesky safety laws here. These photos were taken during Chinese New Year 2008 when one of our friends invited us over to set off fireworks.

On the Rock

I finally put one of Joe's rocks on top of the island. Joe loves to lay on top of something. He used to lay on top of the raised corners of the island, but he is enjoying having a rock again.
