Baby's First Picnic

This is an unusual sight. You don't see many little babies out and about in Asia.

Thanksgiving Baking

I spent yesterday baking for Thanksgiving.

First up was a Brownie Bottom Cheesecake. First the brownie bottom.

Then the cheesecake batter.

And the finished product. Half plain, half raspberry swirl.

Next was pies. First crusts.

For Pumpkin.

And Pecan.

Painting Trees

I am not sure why, but each spring the students go around campus and paint all the trees ... literally.

Pomegranates

Look at all those yummy pomegranates. OK, I don't actually eat them, but I like pomegranate juice. Yeah for Crystal Light Pomegranate Lemonade! I will tell you these pomegranates are not $2 each. One of the benefits of living in a fruit rich area.

Maybe playing in water is universal.

I know this kids are enjoying playing the stream.

Flat Bread

One of the best things about where I lived in Asia was the bread. Not all areas of Asia have good bread, but this area has a great flat bread especially right out of the oven.

Tai Chi

Tai Chi is a favorite Asian park activity.

Mostly in the mornings, you will see many people exercising in parks and other areas.

Most of them are older, but you see some younger people as well.

Green Energy in Asia

Check out the huge wind farm.

There a lot of windmills lining either side of the highway.

There is even a place to pull off the highway and take photos. This is me as a windmill.

It is basically a raised platform covered with area rugs. Notice the sleeping area behind me.

It is his favorite place to relax.

Changes

As much as I enjoy sharing photos of my crazy life in Asia, I have been home for over 3 months. It is time to also show some of my crazy life in America. So in addition to posts about my crazy life in Asia (I still have tons of photos from Asia!), I will be adding in some posts from America.

I love riding the swings at HersheyPark, and it is almost as much fun in Asia.

Everything in Asia is just a little more creatively decorated, so they added some fake leafs on the wires.

But just as fun.
