1000 Buddha Caves

These are a series of Buddhist cave grottos. They date back to the 5th to 9th century.

There are paintings inside each cave. You are not supposed to take pictures, but my friend didn't listen, and I am taking advantage of it.

It all has a very ancient, desert feel to it.

There are also beautiful mountains all around it.
