Hiking with Friends

A while back, I went hiking with friends on the west side of the city. These photos are from that trip.

Our hike started with a stop at this beautiful lake.

The surrounding area is dry, desert-like.

So it was a surprise to see so much water and green in the middle of it.

There were plants on the shore.

A little desert oasis.

Surrounded by brown mountains.

The water really was beautiful.
